So let me be real here. I’m writing a post celebrating my 101st blog post, which you are currently reading, because today I don’t feel like writing much of anything.
This post will be small and nothing fancy. No looking back or free giveaways or special features. I took the week off from blogging last week, and may have enjoyed that freedom a little too much. This week spring is in full swing and I’m making another push on my novel, plus I have several sewing projects and a new sewing machine. All this to say, motivation for blogging is low.
I’ve been ruminating on my blog and instagram account, considering possibilities and new directions. This is the earliest of pokes at questions I have about how I spend my time, so nothing will be changing any time soon. Possibly ever.
I’m rambling a bit today, because, well, low motivation for this particular pursuit is real. I think it’s just a temporary state of mind. I love the practice of blogging. I often clarify my thoughts in the process. And now that I have 100 posts written, I also have a record of where I’ve been. I’ve been surprised to discover that this history can be helpful at times.
So that’s it. Just a little check in. A note to acknowledge where I am and say I’m kinda surprised to be here.
Plus a vacation photo I took of some cool trees in Harpers Ferry, WV. I want to be like these trees: resilient and creative and hopeful.
It sure be like that sometimes.
But 101!!!
Congratulations!
Thank you :o)
